Enviromental Enrichment:

Clare's passion is developing and improving enviromental enrichment for all captive animals. Her 'research dissertations' primarily focussed on pig enrichment which gained numerous media attention.

She successfully clicker trained Kune Kune piglets in a comparison of the learning abilities and cultural status of pigs versus pets, as well as devising and developing enrichment toys to encourage natural behaviours such as foraging and rooting.
